Who we are

Sauna & Cold (saunaandcold.co.uk) is run by Welto Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14630258), registered office 167-169 Great Portland Street, London, England, W1W 5PF. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

What we collect

You can browse the site without giving us any personal information. We collect:

• Your email address, if you sign up to our newsletter, along with where you signed up (for example, the popup or the newsletter page) and when.
• Technical data that any website receives, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is held in our hosting provider's server logs.

We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't build profiles of visitors.

How we use it and our lawful basis

• Newsletter: to send you occasional emails about new venues and guides. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• Server logs: to run the site, keep it secure and fix problems. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.

We never sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We use these service providers, who process data on our behalf:

• Supabase: stores newsletter signups in our database.
• Vercel: hosts the website and keeps short-term server logs.
• OpenStreetMap: when a page shows a map, your browser loads map images from OpenStreetMap, which receives your IP address.

Some of these providers are based in or use servers outside the UK. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Standard Contractual Clauses.

Links to venue websites, Google Maps, Amazon and other sites take you to services with their own privacy policies.

How long we keep it

• Newsletter emails: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
• Server logs: kept by our hosting provider for a short period, typically no more than 30 days.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict how we use it, or withdraw your consent to the newsletter. Email saunaandcold@weltodigital.com and we'll respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

We don't set cookies. See our Cookie Policy for the one item we store in your browser.

If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
